90% Of Red States are Welfare Client States of the federal government. They collect more from the federal government than they send in </o:p>

INCOME:

Of all 50 states per-capita income, the top 6 are all Blue States. The highest per-capita Red State (iColoradoi - 34,519) is 7th from the top.>

Of all 50 states per-capita income, the bottom 19 are all Red States. The lowest per-capita Blue State (iOregoni- 28,806) is 20th from the bottoom

Of the top 25 (1/2-50%) per-capita income states, 17 are Blue States (68%) and 8 are Red States (32%)

Of the bottom 25 (1/2-50%) per-capita income states, 23 are Red States (92%) and 2 are Blue States (8%)

 would you consider michigan a RED state or a BLUE state?

it has a democrat governor, therefore, it must be BLUE...

it also has the highest unemployment of any state in the union. so those economic policies of the blue states must be failing.

it has the highest murder rate in the nation, so those crime policies of the blue states must be failing.

it has the highest incarceration rate in the nation, so those justice initiatives of the blue states must be failing.

it also pays the highest per inmate per day fee out of all but ten of the other states, so the government oversight policies of the blue states must be failing.

it has the worst schools in the nation, so the educational policies of the blue states must be failing.

it is losing businesses faster than any other state in the union, including the three biggest auto makers in the world, so the business policies of the blue states must be failing.

so, tell me again how the blue states are doing so much better?????

 For the first time you are actually talking of issues and not stating opinion and namecalling.

I would be more than happy to address any of the vallid points you made, once it is clear they are valid.

As for the first two, they are self evident.  Michigan does have a Dem Gov, and the reason is clear aswell.

With years of republican governors ruining this state a decent governor has been elected and re-elected.

Michigans current problems are a direct result of Republican Governor Engler.

The highest unemployment rate is also due to republican policys dating back to ronny (union busting) reagan.

(Note; if you should sprial into your usual lying, name calling and subject changing, because you have no verifyable answers this discussion is terminated as other on this blog have done to you aswell. They dont want to "play" with you, and I will follow their lead as I also have no time for  the mind numbing ignorance you usually present)

the premises stated afterward are easy to verify, and well known to those who keep up with current events.

so, where is the answer to the question?

it is rude to be asked your opinion and not to get it. i have given you mine gladly every time it has been asked for, and several times when it has not.

when i was younger, and someone used a word i didn't know the meaning of, i LOOKED IT UP.

 let's look at some statistics of some countries that provide MORE welfare than we do.

yes, these are EUROPEAN COUNTRIES, and thus are revered by the left.

denmark taxes it's citizens 50.4% of it's gross domestic product to cover it's welfare tab.

sweden taxes it's citizens 50.2% of it's gross domestic product to cover it's welfare tab.

is this the kind of taxation we can look forward to?
