    More money to education?

I'm wondering if this means an expansion of how much of our tax money goes to education? We now use 37 to 38 percent of our total state budget for this. Nearly every time I hear a Democrat speak, they want to expand education in some way and it's amazing to see how much of the NEA and MEA donations go to Democrats.

    Silly Me

I thought it would be a computor/correspondence type deal. I can't imagine how feasible this is when so many inmates don't even have a HS diploma. I'm all for accessibility to classes at the expense of the inmate but don't know what kind of classes could be taught inside the prison.

Who's going to pay for it???

Who does Sen. Michael Switalski plan on paying for college educations for prisoners? I bet it is the already over-burdened taxpayers. Isn't it enough of a burden for the law-abiding taxpayer to try to pay for their own education? Where does it state in our Michigan Constitution that the taxpayer should pay for educating law breakers?
