you make several ASSUMPTIONS in your previous missive.
1. there are very few UNION JOBS outside of michigan and new york city. much of the rest of the country has open shops. unions are no longer necessary unless you are a socialist, and there is no other way to get greedy republican business owners to implement your socialist agenda and elect your socialist politicians.
2. you ASSUME that joe MUST take advantage of your socialist programs because you CHOOSE to.
3. you ASSUME that joe has NO WAY TO PAY FOR THOSE SOCIALIST PROGRAMS because the majority of those ON those programs DO NOT PAY FOR THEM. the TRUTH is, JOE ALREADY PAYS FOR THEM WITH HIGHER TAXES.
4. you ASSUME that the REST OF AMERICA wants to be on all the social programs you so fervently drivel on about. the only part of the country that WANTS to be on social programs is the part that is ALREADY ON social programs.
5. you ASSUME that nobody else but you knows anything. a dangerous assumption in this day and age. there are those who's knowledge and experience far outweigh yours, and to treat them like scum is to force those who DO know better, even if they MIGHT support you, to abandon you simply because YOU would be a despotic leader in a socialist world, and they don't want anyone like you making life decisions for them.
now it's too late to change your piss poor prior performance, but it's not too late to investigate the facts.
fact 1. most of the european countries you blather on about charge MUCH HIGHER TAXES to pay for the meagher services you so desire.
fact 2. SOME of the european and near eastern countries you so wish to emulate are turning to OUR way of working out problems. they are telling their citizens to WORK THINGS OUT FOR THEMSELVES. a first for some, i know, but it's the way of the world now that money worldwide is getting tighter.
fact 3. ALL of the places you would rather be won't have you, because you are, first and foremost, an american, and they DESPISE americans. i'm sure that this is the only thing keeping you from revving up your passport and hitching the first rice boat over. otherwise, you'd be living on the OTHER side of the bridge from detroit, but you AREN'T. canada must be a NICE PLACE TO VISIT, but nothing like HOME SWEET HOME.
by the way, why haven't you renounced your citizenship and just hiked across the river? i'm sure that the canadians, an up close and personal version of the european countries you so desire, would be happy to have you donate 48% of your paycheck to the canadian larder to support those who WILL NOT WORK. oh, by the way, the canadians STILL HAVE A FORM OF DEBTOR'S PRISON. THEY CAN SEND YOU TO JAIL IF YOU DON'T PAY YOUR FAIR SHARE OF TAXES.
i know you won't answer these questions, as you, like others of your ilk, are question-phobic, but the questions are out there, and we already know what your answer will be.
one more thing. how can you call yourself a SOCIALIST when you VOTED FOR MCCAIN? turn in your red book and hide your head in shame.
