    Nutz

You people in Lansing must be nutz. So far I have read about 4 new taxes being proposed to "improve" roads, mass transit etc. Enough with your ridiculous spending!! Start laying off or firing the duplicate people you have on the payroll and trim the government. The rest of us should get the torches and pitchforks out and start marching on Lansing to tar and feather these clowns.

    Yeah, Right!!

I do not understand why our leaders would want to impose more taxes on their residents, when the economy is at one of it's worst in years. this will be one of the poorest states, within a ten year period,,,,, We need to live within our means. We have to do that in our personal budgets, and we need to "START" doing it in our Government budgets,, wake up and be responcible, and start policing wasted dollars in other programs.

    It will take more . . .

If you really want to fix the roads, you have to support Right to Work legislation. As it stands now, Lansing can only use Union Labor to build just about anything and if not Union Labor then Lansign must pay Prevailaing Wages = to union wages. That means it costs Michigan taxpayers alot more to repair or build one mile of road, then other Right to Work states. Lansings stinks, but remember the Unions are donating THOUSANDS of dollars to the Dem legislators each year - and they inturn push costs on to MICHIGAN TAXPAYERS. QUID-PRO-QUO.
