    This penalizes neighborhoods! This bill says that, as long as I pay my property taxes, I can allow my building to fall into complete disrepair and blight, and no one can do anything about it. That's not fair to the neighbors! For many of these properties, since the value is so low, the taxes aren't much. Blight is contagious. As long as the city follows due process and notifies the owner, it should be able to complete a demolition order on a dangerous building.
