These are not "know nothing" people, they do whatever it takes to get to the next government teat. Hey, it beats working for a living.
The term limit law should be changed so that after you limit out you have to go back to the real world. The problem in lansingistan is that the term limit law just makes these guys jump from one government teat to the next. they are still pandering all the time. Being a rep. or a senator was never meant to be a lifelong career. Make it a one or two term job and then they might do whats right for everybody instead of pandering and stealing money from the earners to buy the votes of the slackers. Another way this could be fixed is to go back to what the constitution said, only property owners can vote.
