    support senate bill 731

We veterans, including disabled veterans support this bill. Too many vets are abandon once they leave Iraq, and are discharged. Too many veterans are not given the chance to get screened or tested for PTSD. This would be very helpful to us vets. And YES, we deserve medication for our serious health care problems. Do not abandon us after we have fought for YOU.

    spare us

the "we are heroes" chatter on this, if you please. As a Vietnam era vet I do not need to be reminded of what we ask of our military people. I endorse proposals that will help them readjust to civilian life after coming home. I suspect PTSD screening would be of great benefit to service people and new vets. But isn't this something the military and federal Veterans Administration should be doing?
