    Another Tax

Why do you constantly penalize the business community with these dictator type rules and then try to profit on them? Have you looked at how much revenue already comes into the state coffers because of the tobacco taxes? You are trying to kill one of your golden geese and then what are you going to come up with. All this is is another tax, fee, license or what ever you want to call it. This is not Russia or Cuba (Thank God) yet, but you are sure trying to turn it into a Nanny state in a hurry.

    Hmmmmm

"This is not Russia or Cuba (Thank God) yet, but you are sure trying to turn it into a Nanny state in a hurry." Castro doesn't regulate smoking or how much water your toilet can flush with, neither does russia.......... They just outlawed bottled water in san francisco, this is after banning plastic bags.... If you get a speeding ticket in cuba you only pay once, try that in michganistan.... We might be further down the socialist slope than you think.

    This is the new thing

This is the new thing out of payment for choice we think smoking is bad but for $500.00 we will look the other way and allow the freedom of choice with your business. This type of garbage really burns me personal propety rights, ownership, personal freedoms and the ability to be able to do whatever you want with what is yours with in reason as long as not to infringe on the rights of others is at the heart and backbone of what makes our country one of the greatest anywhere. I mean if people don't want to go into a restraunt that allows smoking they don't have to its their choice just like it should be the choice of the restraunt owner wheter or not he wants to allow smoking. Personal choices and personal freedoms are two things that I myself love and believe this state and nation is allowing them to fade away like an old memory that need not be saved it's a shame. I hope peole get awoken before the thieves steal everything and there is nothing left to be saved.

    Let's talk about real problems

Impose a $500 fee on every teacher that fails to have all their students meet grade level requirements before sending them on to the next level to fail. Impose a $500 fee on every school district that fails to teach a child to read by the third grade.
