    Unnecessary waste of time

Hunting regulations clearly spell out the laws by which you may take game. It is clearly expected that the "taking of game" by means of hunting means to kill the animal. This is just another example of wasted time, effort and money by our legislature to regulate something that does not need regulation. No hunter would ever assume that he/she could take game with a tranquilizer dart nor would they want to. This scenario should be covered under the theft/poaching laws and dealt with accordingly.

    Need bill

There are obviously some sleazy hunters who do use tranquilizer darts on animals or this subject would have never come up.

    it's funny that the

D.N.R. can't quote any instances of finding that hunters are using tranquilizer darts. it's just a 'tree hugger' suggestion that the legislature doesn't think is a good idea. if anyone can come up with a DOCUMENTED, VERIFIABLE CASE in michigan, let me know.

    Yes,

that pesky Constitution does still get in the way now and then. Fortunately, Congress is working on getting past all that.
