    2007 Senate Bill 494 (Revise road life cycle analysis procedures )

    Introduced in the Senate on May 10, 2007, to require the Department of Transportation to use road building material and technique life-cycle cost analyses from other states to determine the most cost effective pavement types, if there is no applicable historical data from Michigan

    The vote was 37 in favor, 0 opposed and 1 not voting

    Common Sence vs Law

    If we need a law for the transportation dept to use data from other states when we don't ther data we should replace those people. We don't need laws to substuitute for good business practices. IF our elected officals have time to work on this insteed of the budget problems, then they need to rethink their priorites

    I vote for common sense every time....that means, I guess, NO vote for most of the people in office in MI
