    "and"

That's why I wrote "and quit breaking the law." Read the whole post before you start whining.
  • 05-23-2007 2:21 PM In reply to

    Commie

People ar actually still throwing that around? The Cold War has been over for a long time people.
  • 05-23-2007 2:22 PM In reply to

    You didn;t drive drunk

but you broke the law. Follow the law and you won't have these problems.
  • 05-23-2007 6:41 PM In reply to

    Thank you

I guess you missed the "ALL HAIL THE STATE!! ALL HAIL THE STATE!!" part (hint--that's you bleating for injustice) Reading comprehension much?? We're *all* (well, most of us here) laffing at another ridiculous mini-tyrant fouling up our internet.
  • 05-23-2007 6:42 PM In reply to

    Socialist

Okay, sorry. We meant "socialist". Those are still a dime a boatload around here.
  • 05-23-2007 7:00 PM In reply to

    Dummy education

"Those who don't agree with you are "dumb" and "not an american." Since the country was founded on libertarian ideals, yes, in this case, people who agree with your foul brand of statism might well indeed be considered "unamerican."
  • 05-23-2007 7:05 PM In reply to

Unlearn how to be a mini-Stalin

"Quit driving sober while "breaking" unjust legislation" I fixed it again (simpler this time--maybe this will stick)
  • 05-23-2007 7:10 PM In reply to

No, you're utterly devoid of anything remotely resembling a clue

"That's why I put the "and quit breaking the law" part in there." Funny, we don't hear your objections to this injustice. I guess you just want our money. What are you, the State?
  • 05-23-2007 7:19 PM In reply to

[sigh] one more time (thankless job)

Please excuse the *vivid* example that even a retard could glean meaning from, but would you have asked Rosa to "just follow the law"? Or just bleat at her to shut her trap and get back in her place? Try not to huff and puff (you'll hyperventilate and faint, and I aint giving you CPR)--these *vivid* examples are only designed to coax a couple of your brain cells into some useful activity, feeble though it may be. We're not equating mass racial injustice with traffic tickets. Only trying to get at least one statist to realize a small similarity, and then so enlightened, maybe shut its piehole and quit disturbing the peace around here.
  • 05-23-2007 9:46 PM In reply to

    Pobably still too hard

You used a four-syllable word, a hyphen, and a historical reference. Way too highbrow.
  • 05-23-2007 9:50 PM In reply to

    fun with terse simpleton

Jay-walked? Give him the chair. Gotta problem with that? Then dont break the law.
  • 05-23-2007 9:53 PM In reply to

    you CAN'T give him the

chair... our wussyfied state can't stomach meting out JUSTICE.
  • 05-23-2007 10:02 PM In reply to

    Farm it out

We'll hire Texas for that. Oh, you said "mete." Too highfalutin for t. s.
  • 05-24-2007 11:57 AM In reply to

    Fix it again

    Legislation is law.
  • 05-24-2007 11:58 AM In reply to

    Socialism is good

It really isn't an insult. Of course, this law isn't socialism, so it really doesn't matter.
  • 05-24-2007 12:01 PM In reply to

    I hit the pertinent part

Chicken Littles like you comparing crying about the Driver's Responsibility Act to Rosa Parks and the Berlin Wall coming down. Sad.
  • 05-24-2007 12:03 PM In reply to

    Tyrants

Why is it that anyone who disagrees with you is a "Statist" and a "mini-tyrant." It sounds like you are the tyrant, telling people what to think.
  • 05-24-2007 12:04 PM In reply to

    "Who"

    Don't you mean "who are you . . ."?
  • 05-24-2007 12:10 PM In reply to

    Actually

You may want to read a history book before you start talking about the ideals this country was founded on; this country was founded on the rule of law. It was also founded on the ideal of freedom of speech. Read a history book.
  • 05-25-2007 12:56 AM In reply to

    Average Joe

These laws are simply not fair! The cost of living is at an all time high and most people have to work damn hard to just get by. The driver responsibility fees only add more finacial and personal stress for a crime we already paid court and state fines and fees on. One more reason to move out of state and seek for a better life elsewhere.
  • 05-25-2007 9:13 PM In reply to

    You struck the pertinence gusher

a few posts up with "Socialism is good". My work is done here. Now *I'm* laffing (thanks!) Cheers!
  • 05-25-2007 9:18 PM In reply to

    Plato teaches

"Legislation is law." Well now, *that's* profound! Quick, trademark it!
  • 05-25-2007 9:36 PM In reply to

    Where's Waldo

"It sounds like you are the tyrant, telling people what to think." One person is arguing for increased use of deadly force, stepped-up confiscation of property, and extended incarceration of people who have injured or taken from no one. Another person proclaims, "that's stupid!" Find the tyrant among those two.
  • 05-27-2007 8:33 AM In reply to

    if the person is incarcerated

how can you say he "injured no one"? stealing from me is injuring me,i am harmed by the theft. taking my car is injuring me, i am harmed by the taking of my car. making me pay for the incarceration of people who refuse to pay child support is injuring me, i am harmed by the government theft of my money. refusing to allow the proper punishment of heinous criminals is injuring me, i am harmed by the lack of justice. explain, if you can, how the drug dealer who is "non-violent" has never hurt anybody. explain, if you can, how the car theif who is "non-violent" has never hurt anybody. explain, if you can, how the child molester who is "non-violent" has never hurt anybody. these are but three examples. i'm awaiting your explanations.
  • 05-27-2007 11:56 PM In reply to

    Unfair law

This law does not target just drunk drivers. When I was stationed in Michigan (I'm in the military), I took my girlfriends car out to pick up burger king. It was about 1:30 am on a saturday, so of course I get pulled over. I had no alcohol the whole day. I got cited for speeding (I was in the 1-5 mph over bracket), and no insurance (I nor my girl friend knew her insurance expired). Now they are threatening to garnish $1000 from my wages. Not to sound melodramatic, but its times like this I wonder what kind of democracy we have. The same democracy that I swore to protect. The only good thing about this is, as of right now, my commander wont let them take my money.
  • 05-29-2007 8:38 AM In reply to

    Rosa?

I cannot believe you are equating the struggle for civil rights in this country to your whining about this unjust, republican driven law.
  • 05-29-2007 8:39 AM In reply to

    laffing

    What is "laffing?"
  • 05-29-2007 8:41 AM In reply to

    Deadly Force?

Please show me where on this site any one is arguing about the things you said they were arguing about. Stop lying and try and make some kind of cognizable point.
  • 05-29-2007 8:44 AM In reply to

Lies, more lies, and the lying liars who tell them

"One person is arguing for increased use of deadly force, stepped-up confiscation of property, and extended incarceration of people who have injured or taken from no one." I don't see anyone arguing for those things anywhere. You might want to quit with the fox news type sensationalism and lying, and actually make an argument.
  • 05-29-2007 12:44 PM In reply to

    how is lowering

taxes and eliminating a money grab unjust? we are simply eliminating ONE way this state and it's PREDOMINATELY DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENT tries to strip away our rights and our money. i didn't see the democrats voting AGAINST this raise in taxes, did you?
  • 05-30-2007 9:44 AM In reply to

    not really profound

I just wanted to clarify it for you, since you insist on calling it legislation instead of law. What would be profound would be if you suddenly got educated and stopped using cliches and rhetoric to try and make a point.
  • 05-30-2007 9:48 AM In reply to

    Democratic

This state's government has been predominantly republican for 15 years. Your ignorance is laughable. However, if by "democratic" you meant republicans elected through the democratic process, my apoligies. Otherwise, you may want to take some time and learn about your state's government, and who your elected officials are. Also, please educate yourself on who sponsored and passed this law.
  • 05-30-2007 9:49 AM In reply to

    Taxes?

This law isn't a raise in taxes. If you don't know what you are talkingg about, please refrain from posting. Lies and innuendo do little to further your already weak argument.
  • 05-30-2007 9:55 AM In reply to

    Democracy

Quit trying to use the fact that you voluntarily joined the service to get people to feel sorry for you, no one forced you to join the service. I find it hard to believe neither you, nor your girlfriend, knew your insurance was expired, what happened to the bill? I think you are a liar who didn't feel like paying for your insurance. Finally, you should be very proud that this bill was introduced, and put into law through the democratic process that you swore to defend. Thannk you for your service and next time, follow the law. Michigan has been a no-fault state for a long time.
  • 05-30-2007 9:57 AM In reply to

    Your Commander

By the way, your commander has absolutely no say in whether or not they take the money. More lies.
  • 05-30-2007 6:34 PM In reply to

    i did.

and not a single democrat voted AGAINST IT. a republican in the mansion DOES NOT mean a majority republican government. i'm looking at all the democrats in office all over the state. from governor to dog catcher. i'm also looking at all the "R.I.N.O."s out there, REPUBLICANS IN NAME ONLY. there are hundreds in office, even now.
  • 05-30-2007 6:42 PM In reply to

    any time the government

takes money from the people, it's a TAX. PURE AND SIMPLE. in this case, it's a TAX ON BEING taken to court on any driving related incident. if they could figure out a way to tax breathing, i'm sure they would.
  • 05-30-2007 6:44 PM In reply to

    yes, he does.

he has TOTAL say over who takes money from HIS SOLDIERS. the I.R.S. cannot even garnish a soldier's wages without the commander's permission. municipal, county, and state police cannot take custody of a soldier without the commander's permission. a soldier is GOVERNMENT PROPERTY, and cannot be taken without the permission of the commander of that property. you CAN get him when the government is through with him, though.
  • 05-30-2007 6:47 PM In reply to

    if this law is

republican driven, why doesn't the DEMOCRATIC SIDE just repeal it? they have a sitting democrat in the mansion, it should be easy. no word on that happening, though. it must not be that high of a democrat priority.
  • 05-31-2007 7:17 AM In reply to

This Bunk Was "Queen Jenny" driven

and the spineless repub's let her do it. Just trying to get along don't ya know. The problem with getting along with these folks is that it is all one way. They will shake your hand and reach in your pocket with the other one.
