Thanks for your forward thinking bill

out early FORWARD THINKING? how is this good for the NON-INCARCERATED CITIZENS OF THIS STATE?

I say LET THEM ALL OUT EARLY and then give them all directions to Lansing, MI, where they can sing "KUM BA YAH" around the fire that is burning around our Capitol building

My husband will come home to Texas. He is a much different man than he was 12 yrs ago. He has a loving home and alot of support. Will another 10 yrs at MI expense make a difference in how safe MI or any city is? Rehabilitation is non- existent in prisons and much thought should be directed to reintegration. Keeping men locked up indefinately is no answer in any state. and apparently the status quo is costing MI plenty. Those of you who feel these men should be abused, tortured, stripped of their self respect are part of the problem not the solution.

MI doesn't have the same 'good time' rules as other states... that is the issue. Hope is a powerful thing to a man incarcerated. Yet MI wants to deny men hope. If MI laws were effective they would be some deterrent but I believe MI has an extremely high crime and conviction rate. right? You should be supporting this bill and make it into law.

The non-incarcerated citizens on this state [you, me, and others] need to worry about the betterment of themselves. Why can't these men have a chance to live a free and normal life as we do? Who knows what drove them to do what they did to end up in prison, and who really cares!! What about the ones that go into MI prisons at 15 & 16 years old and are thrown to the more experienced criminals and expected to be rehabilitated? What about the families of those that are in there? Cruel and unusual is what MI DOC is! If a man can be caged away with ball and chain on his ankle and show that he can keep his head up and his a** out of trouble... he should be set free! GIVE US, US, FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sincerely, A non-incarcerated citizen.
