It's high time these 'perks' like this are withdrawn. I am hoping this bill is retroactive.

It is high time that we had a representative with the courage to introduce a bill to end post-retirement health care benefits for those who are no longer in office. I commend Rep. Marty Knollenberg for his House Bill 4558. We only hope that the rest of his peers have the courage to conscience to pass it.

Here, here. It is about time. I have recently become a Trustee in a small MI Village and am seeing first hand the lack of financial control and oversight that goes on routinely. I worked for 40 years and don't have full medical paid for by anyone but ME. But the government ALWAYS has tax payer dollars to blow. And introduce a part time legislature while you're at it!

I KNEW there was a good reason why I voted for Marty! You go, guy.

Boy, I wish I had free medical after only 6 years on the job! Eliminating this would save the state lots of money.

It nice to see a representative of the people standing up and doing something that makes sense in what seems to be some troubled time for our government! Thank you again!
