That's where you are wrong
Not all cops are out to write tickets. Most don't like writing tickets but are told that if they don't they will get a bad performance appraisal.
Where I work they don't have time for ticket writing. They are too busy with complaints.
I.E. CSC case, Fraud, ID theft B&E's.
So that argument doesn't fly.

Explain this Statement...
73) Very wrong [by Anonymous Citizen on March 7, 2007]
We are trained more then most. Not only could we do a car accident but we are the only ones to investigate trucks involved in accident. I sure don't see a Trooper or a Deputy crawling under a smashed up truck to check the breaks.
Beside if a accident is that bad it is turn over to a accident investagator any way and the Trooper or Deputy is there to hold the dummy end of the tape.
The above statement says MCO's INVESTIGATE truscks involved in crashes. Do you investigate or INSPECT trucks involved in accidents. Your right you dont see the Trooper or Dep. crawling under the truck. Because they are investigating while your inspecting,
Check with your HQ's, other agencies have CVSA certified officers. Not just the MSP motor carrier division. And they probably check the brakes while your checking the "breaks"!!!!

proof read before you post

"Do you investigate or INSPECT trucks involved in accidents." (?)
"Your right you dont see the Trooper or Dep. crawling under the truck." (Your right. You do not see the Trooper or Dep. crawling under the truck.)
"Because they are investigating while your inspecting," (This is because they are investigating while your inspecting.)
Your not too great either.
