on the principle that it's none of the state's business how many people i have in my car. it's mine.
it's none of the state's business whether or not my children get into accidents, it's mine and my insurance company's.
the state doesn't have to pay a dime extra if my child gets into an accident, as the police and fire departments are already paid by my taxes and any ambulances are paid by my insurance.
no. i don't WANT my child to get into an accident, but legislation won't stop her from having one. the government is in WAY TOO FAR OVER IT'S HEAD ALREADY in matters it has no business attending to.
perhaps if the state troopers were actually DOING THEIR JOB instead of 'fishing for revenue', then the roads would be much safer.
perhaps if county sheriff's were patrolling the streets and roads, children new to driving wouldn't speed and 'act out' behind the wheel.
perhaps if city police weren't so interested in stopping every car on the streets after 'closing time' to see if it can raise enough income to pay his salary for the next year, they would have time to EDUCATE YOUNG DRIVERS BETTER.
but these things won't happen, not in this state.
the state is not responsible for my children's safety, nor is it going to allow itself to be HELD RESPONSIBLE. so why is the state wasting my valuable tax money considering this intrusive legislation?
so they can get more revenue from young drivers.
