    Like It

Bi-monthly would be better on the grocery stores and on the recipiants, ie. meal planning, food expiration dates etc.

    not more paper work!!

the system already spends 80% of it's budget on administration. No more! A disabled SSI recipient only gets about $100 in food stamps, with an income of $623.00, pass some money on to them.

    Sounds Like A

normal government run bloated program. "the system already spends 80% of it's budget on administration. No more! " And to think that some dim bulbs want to turn over our health care to these lumps.

    Re: Food Stamps

I live on $643.00 month, and my food stamps were just cut down to $10.00 month. My income is from SSI and forced early retirement S.S. Tell me--What will 10.00 month buy?? I have other monthly costs besides rent & phone. Who pays for my car insurance, over-counter meds, life insurance, household & personal needs, clothing, etc, etc. I guess if I save the $10.00 per month for 6 months--then I can go buy half a month of food!!! According to the Food Stamp calculator--I should get $153 month. What a joke--Penalize the poor & disabled as much as possible.
