2006 House Joint Resolution AA (Petition Congress for citizen-based apportionment amendment )
No thank you. We do not need to have a Constitutional Convention that will open up our U.S. Constitution to all kinds of mayhem and folly. There are no safeguards to protect us from many other revisions in our miracle of a constitution. There is no way to stop from revisions being made that will totally corrupt and disgard what our Founding Fathers bestowed on us.
We do not know who will be appointed to sit on a Constitutional Convention. Therefore, we can have individuals with motivations to lessen the protections that our long held Bill of Rights have afforded us.
A Constitutional Convention should not be taken lightly. Our U.S. Constitution is not out of date, and in my opinion we have very few, if any individuals who have the same or similar intellect of the body that originally graced us with the foundation for our freedoms.
As the saying goes, "Miracles do not cluster."
