I think this is a clear indication that Rep. Mortimer and others believe the whole pop up scheme has major faults. What is clearly a burden on 65+ year olds is also a burden on newlyweds or anyone else. The whole idea that my neighbor can pay 30 or 40 percent more in property tax than me with the same house is absurd.
