    NO NO NO NO

    The folks of this state have voted AGAINST arts taxes. What part of NO are you confused by. This is just a back door way to do what we told you not to do.

    Well there's one way to shake down people for money...

    ...make sure that they cannot vote you out of office! Yet another naked grab at money. I'd recommend that the sponsor of this ridiculous bill should be ashamed of themself, but it's already probably too late for that...

    What's wrong?

    Michigan is exempt from taxation without representation. Besides, if all those out of state folks want to come to Michigan to get their tax money worth, they can vacation in this fine state and go to the DSO. Vacationing in Detroit is a great place for the family.

    have no shame. I think they should be recalled and made to work in the real world.
