    effectiveness of bill

How effective has this bill been in collecting back child support? I have a child support order in McComb County case #2005001059 - that orginated in the state of florida. this isn't the first order I have had in the state of michigan. And I have to contact the "Friend of the Court" evry three months asking them to enforce the order. What would be the mose effective way for me to collect the monies owed to me? lisa

Child Support "Enforcement" = More Title IV-D Money

I find it pathetic that our government continues their political postureing of "the best interest of the child" while legislating more power to "family" court judges and robs biological parents the God given right to be a parent just to get Federal welfare money. SHAME ON YOU! The spineless "child and family" commitee failed to pass HB 5267 to the next level just to because they are afraid of losing money and lawyers and judges are afraid of losing their power over our families. Since FOC and "family" court judges have more power than a biological parent, then THEY should financially support the Title IV-D welfare recipient. Most non-sustodial parentw pay their support to the best of their ability. The problem comes in when FOC and "family" court judges REFUSEt to follow the law as well as child support guidelines. The FOC Bureau has admitted that the support formula is not accurate, and that Judges havd the power to go outside of the recommended support amount based on evidance. They have refused to do this timie and time again while at the same time failing to do their job by treating both parfents equally by imputing income to the custodial parent. The resuult? Maximum Title IV-D funds through FRAUD and extortion on the threat of prison.

    child support

There should be better alternatives to payment plans on child support! A percentage of Income would seem fairly reasonable like 10%. Who can pay while incarcerated! And would hire an ex-convict? And why in the world doesn't the money go into a childs account fund for their behalf to buy clothes, school supplies, food, etc. instead of in a greedy parents hands or getting lost in the child support system?!
