I'm sorry but I dont agree with you. If you believe all of what you have said, then you have a closed mind my friend.

    sorry, sierra.

what i believe in are verifiable facts. if YOU don't believe those, they YOUR mind is closed. so, sierra, i suggest you go to the department of justice website and see just what the facts are about recidivism (inmates re-committing crimes) for yourself. the information is out there. now, you pretty much seem to have made up your mind without those facts. THAT seems just a little closed minded, as a matter of fact. good luck with that.

I agree with you, I was trying to see all angles of the conversation, I'm not looking for a release of anyone, only a few cases should even be concidered. There is a lot of other issues in Michigan that sure could use a once over as well. There are issues with grants, I could go on and on about that issue. We sure are NOT getting our moneys worth with our current gov.

    hey, sierra.

you didn't answer the question. which would you rather save? 29 million? or 1 billion?

    sierra, you can

look only as far as the voting booth to find the root of most of those problems. wasteful government is run by wasteful politicians. politicians who spend their time taking on jobs OTHER than the proper role of government. wasting their time trying to run people's lives instead of working to run their particular part of the state. in other words, the left wing has installed a bunch of NANNIES who want to run our lives instead of efficiently spending our taxes on necessary services.

    actually

I'd rather save a reality-based 29 million bucks than play unrealistic pie-in-the-sky games based on a billion dollars that some internet troll has dreamt up.

amazing how you can even run a business

when you spend so much time on this site bashing everyone who differs in opinion than you. You must think you are God and you are right about everything. What you rant on about has nothing to do with this bill. I think you just want to see your name in print.

    Trust Me

When I'm in my business that i bought and I pay taxes to support whiny little libs like you I am the one who makes the rules. If you don't like it then you are free to go somewhere else. What you are not free to do is tell me how to run my business. Like I said, I have lots of folks that enjoy my establishment and don't really chase after the whiny control freak portion of society.

be? are you somehow confusing me with CRAZYCAJUN? i'm honored, but i'm not him. i run my business quite well from this computer, and i supervise more people in more countries than you do. i make more in a day then you make in a year. i do not support the taking of rights. you do. why?

    Payday Loan Advocate for michiganvotes.org

With our economy going into a slump, why is it that political figures are destroying valid financial options? Payday loans are an essential part of the U.S. financial system, providing loans to those who have bad or no credit that need the money fast. Yet, for one reason or another, legislators are targeting this financial system. Some states, such as Georgia and North Carolina, have even banned the industry all together! The politics behind it is simple; banks are lobbying the legislators to try and destroy their oncoming competition, and the legislators are falling for it. Even taking out the fact that banks are trying to take away your financial choices and freedoms so they can have a monopoly on loans, the corruption of our politics is simply wrong. Our opinions must be heard, and our freedom of choice, financial or not, should not be dampened on the soul fact on one person's financial gain.

    still no name

STILL no name on that FACTUALLY INNOCENT inmate that was executed, along with the thousands of his factually innocent cohorts you used to keep whining about. you don't whine about him any more, so the thousands of innocent men executed MUST still be alive.
