    Proud of legislators for beginning to see correlation

    between lead and the type of students we produce that employers want to employ. Sad but true. Not the only factor, but it's there.

Virg Bernero on May 26, 2005, to require public and private schools and day care centers to conduct testing for the presence of lead in drinking water and report the results to the state Department of Environmental Quality. The bill does not identify a funding source for the testing.

    This is a great idea. Let's see what we are looking at, collect some data and decide where to go from there. Got to be some rich person that believes in education. Anyone? Please.
