Introduced in the House on May 4, 2005, to exempt municipal employees who want to purchase up to four parcels of land from the municipality from the law that otherwise prohibits “insider” transactions involving public employees. Employees whose responsibilities include the purchase or selling of such property would NOT be exempt, and each purchase would have to be at least 18 months after a previous purchase

The vote was 102 in favor, 3 opposed and 5 not voting

Let's slide in yet another privilege for our ruling elite at the municipal level. Better yet, let's make it so Mr. Tabocman can find out about these land deals ( that municlpalaties alwats know about first)and have his friends in those districts pick them up. By the way, they also get to set the price as they see fit which can be $1, if your the RIGHT man. That way he can get bigger contributions. WHY DO YOU THINK THAT LAW WAS IN PLACE, DUH!
