    Compensated then?

Were the teachers under a different pension plan when teaching on military bases? Would this be double dipping? Did they know they didn't have coverage under the State plan when they hired into the base school system? Was that calculated into their compensation? How much did they contribute into the state plan? And-How much do the teachers presently contribute to their retirement plan?
