    A THOUGHT...

here's a thought... how about ENFORCING the laws as they stand... tack on weapons charges to the already extensive list of offenses of the REAL CRIMINALS that would be arrested if they could get the law enforcement officers away from the bar parking lots waiting for a drunk driver to stagger out and get near his car... ooops... i'm sorry... REAL criminals don't pay the state thousands of dollars when they get caught... enforce the law, don't shoot fish in a barrel...

    ok...

to paraphrase a lib from another thread on this site... show me 100 cases where someone has been killed or maimed by a multi-bladed device, and i'll believe that this law is a good idea. (not really, i'll NEVER believe that this law is a good idea...)

    because if he did...

he couldn't advance the liberal agenda of disarming you completely.

    Say What?

"Don't feel bad though, many people think a knife is a knife is a knife and a gun is a gun is a gun. Its those people who vote without fully considering the details of the subject that scare the hell out of me." People that want to ban inanimate objects because they are on a power trip "scare the hell out of me". A gun or a knife never hurt anyone, even the scary looking ones that you would like to use as a first step towards disarming us.

    Delusional

"able to be swung in multiple directions without changing grip or hand position" If this scenario were correct you would only get to swing it once before taking one in the coconut. Your statement assumes that whoever is getting the knife swung at is unarmed. Don't ever bring a knife (even a scary one) to a gun fight.

    This is why

only property owners should be allowed to vote.

    whatever happened to the

concept of "bearing arms for the defense of yourelf and the state"? if you are carrying a knife, you are "armed", if "only" with a knife. as a previous poster said, never carry a knife to a gunfight. but i add, that every gunfighter i know ALSO carries a knife. it's not the THING, it's how you USE the thing that makes it a weapon.
