    Repeal Historic District Designation

There is no reason to continue to have "historic commission" legislation. The whole concept is based on socialism; that other busybodies should have veto power over what you do with your own private property. It's a contradiction in terms. Private property cannot exist if outside, non-owners can determine what you are allowed to do with it. Why should eight of your neighbors get veto rights over the color you want to paint your house? Plus, they can determine that your house will be condemned due to your neglect in not painting your house correctly, come on to your property, paint it colors they approve, and then bill you for it!
