This is the church's job, jerk their tax exempt status. They should be ashamed of themselves, building those over engineered buildings.
And for letting their elderly members suffer make
those entities pay taxes like the rest of us and use that money to fund helping the elderly.
If the church is not going to do its job and continue to be disfunctional then why give them those perks.
What about United Way? Remember the Regional Vice president who wrote himself a 500,000 dollar bonus in Grand Haven. We need legislation to jerk their tax exempt status also. Ever go to Wal-Mart and notice the "We help our community" signs all over. Pull their 20-year tax abatements.
Our founding fathers never intended the state to pay for this- its time to hold those non-profits accountable and pay up and assist up or lose their tax exempt status- they should be required to report how much they really help and the recievers of the assistance should be required to report how much they recieve.
Ever see the salaries for non profit executives
Do the research and write your legislator
So we can have some accountablility.
