To extend until October 2018 the sunset on a provision of the state crime victim's rights fund earmarking money not used by the fund in any given year to pay instead for other law enforcement activities, such as maintaining the state sex offender registry, “Amber alert” programs, sex crime victim treatment services, lie detector tests and expert witness fees.
