To revise the formula used to calculate the property tax “recapture rate” assessed when productive forestland is withdrawn from <A href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2005-SB-912">a program</A> granting property tax exemptions to owners of smaller "non-industrial" sized parcels of forestland, with the rate depending on whether timber has been harvested on the property.
