To establish that having recent and relevant military experience in the field meets the criteria for obtaining a “electrical journeyman's license.” Current law prohibits a person from earning a living as an electrician unless he or she has least “8,000 hours of experience obtained over at least four years,” plus passing a licensure test and paying fees.
