

2011 House Bill 4554: Expand sunken log permit regime (Senate Roll Call 606)
Passed 29 to 9 in the Senate on October 27, 2011, to expand the law that imposes regulations, permit requirements and fees on the removal of submerged logs from beneath the Great Lakes, and prohibit removing logs for from inland lakes and streams except to relieve logjams. The bill would also revise permit fees and bond requirements, and application procedures.
