One good thing about this though is the fact that people will start to reconsider their options before disposing trash, they'll start reduce the amount of trash they dispose, reuse or recycle the old items, I think that's the whole purpose of this tax. And no, our local junk removal La Verne service didn't increase any tax, nothing changed here.

Oops. They slipped in a 60% tax increase on garbage dumping. Most of the cost will be borne by businesses who generate higher volumes of trash. Almost no one noticed.
