Adults having to take another hunter safety course is insane. These legislators think the adults in this state are stupid and are willing to treat them like the children, who are required to take a hunter safety class, like I took 39 years ago.I would have to take a class after 39 years of hunting? Is this communist China?

Not only is this a non-issue, it sets a really dangerous precedent. Now, whenever parents do something the state doesn't like, they can be sent to "rehabilitation" classes to either make sure they don't do it again, or start doing it in the first place. Very Orwellilan, along the whole Hilary Clinton line of "It Takes a Village" to raise a child. Don't even START on DHS taking that Ann Arbor prof's kid away from him because he mistakenly gave him Mike's Hard Lemonade! When the Bolsheviks at the ACLU litigate AGAINST DHS on something like this, you KNOW something's seriously wrong with how the state views parenting!

I agree. The legislature keeps "borrowing trouble" to avoid dealing with the real issues facing Michigan. They need to wake up and make some serious changes. Frankly, I'm ready to vote for anyone who's never held office before to get rid of the "bad blood" that's in office now (Republican and Democrat alike).
