What a perfect example of the futility and harmfulness of government regulations. Consumers are paying more for land line telephone service because phone companies must provide telephone books in an age when the internet provides instant access to phone numbers and other companies produce better phone books to generate advertising dollars. Michigan must review all regulations and repeal many to be competitive.
