Passed 20 to 18 in the Senate on April 27, 2011, the Senate version of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2011-2012 higher education budget. This would appropriate $1.362 billion in gross spending, compared to $1.578 billion the previous year. $200 million of this would come from the School Aid Fund. The Senate did not adopt Gov.
