

2011 House Bill 4217: Increase power of school and local emergency financial managers (Senate Roll Call 54)
Passed 26 to 12 in the Senate on March 9, 2011, to revise references in the state elections law to conform to the enhanced emergency financial manager powers proposed by House Bill 4214. Among other things, that bill would give the EFM the power to cancel existing government or teacher union contracts.

Fortunately the majority of taxpayers are fed up with paying for unreasonable union benefits while everyone else take cuts. I don't think the legislators have anything to worry about. Shame on unions for using intimidation and coercion to line their greedy pockets.
