Passed 26 to 12 in the Senate on March 9, 2011, to revise references in the state elections law to conform to the enhanced emergency financial manager powers proposed by House Bill 4214. Senate Roll Call 54 on 2011 House Bill 4217
Fortunately the majority of taxpayers are fed up with paying for unreasonable union benefits while everyone else take cuts. I don't think the legislators have anything to worry about. Shame on unions for using intimidation and coercion to line their greedy pockets.
Shame on each and every one of you who voted for this bill. We will work as hard as possible to make sure you do not return.
this is circumventing our right to vote, to elect the leaders of our choice. this is unamerican.
