

2010 Senate Bill 1196: Revise university traffic fines (Senate Roll Call 421)
Passed 37 to 0 in the Senate on September 16, 2010, to establish that the civil fines imposed by state universities for parking, traffic and pedestrian ordinances would be the same as those authorized for these violations in other places. Under current law the maximum fines universities can impose are $25, and $100 for parking in disabled-only slots.
