2010 Senate Bill 1158 (Appropriations: 2010-2011 Department of Human Services (Welfare) budget )  by admin on January 1, 2001
Introduced in the Senate on February 24, 2010, the Senate version of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2010-2011 Department of Social Services (Welfare) budget. This would appropriate $6.953 billion in gross spending, compared to $5.941 billion, which was the FY 2009-2010 amount enrolled in 2009, and $7.004 billion recommended by Gov. Granholm. Of this, $916.4 million will come from the general fund (funded by actual state tax revenues), compared to the FY 2009-2010 amount of $860.2 million. $5.932 billion of this budget is federal money (of which $818 million is “stimulus” deficit spending) compared to the FY 2009-2010 amount of $4.974 billion

The vote was 20 in favor, 18 opposed and 0 not voting
