2) 2008 House Bill 6515 (Expand stadium tax law ) [by admin on January 1, 2001]
Introduced in the House on September 24, 2008, to expand the scope of the law that authorizes local hotel, restaurant and rental car excise taxes to pay for municipal stadiums. The bill would lower a certain population standard, allowing Kalamazoo County and Kalamazoo to levy these taxes

The vote was 67 in favor, 36 opposed and 7 not voting
