2) 2007 Senate Bill 720 (Expand scrap metal processors licensure ) [by admin on January 1, 2001]
Introduced in the Senate on September 4, 2007, to include “scrap (metal) processors” in the law that mandates licensure for junk and second hand dealers. See also Public Act 675 of 2006. Also, to delete a provision under which a local junk and second hand dealers license may not be issued in any residential community where 65 percent of property owners within one block petition against it
