2008 House Bill 6247 (Revise high school curriculum waiver procedure ) (House Roll Call 812)

Passed in the House (88 to 15) on September 25, 2008, to revise procedures for a student in 10th grade to have the new high school curriculum and graduation requirements waived. The bill would make it easier for a student to get out of the math class requirements by allowing the waiver after completing 1-1/2 credits of math (instead of 2-1/2 credits), and after completing grade nine.
