To authorize a diversion of part of the hotel tax levied in the metro-Detroit area to pay for Cobo Hall, to fund Super Bowl XL host committee functions, or to reimburse a county for contributions or grants already made to the Super Bowl XL host committee. The bill would divert approximately $1.075 million of the taxes paid in September, 2004 only.
