Why, in the name of all that is holy, do we need an "official" Scottish Tartan? Don't our lawmakers have enough to do without this kind of nonsense? This is a good reason why we need a part-time government. Our economy is in the tank, our unemployement is the highest in the nation, and our public school system is producing high-school drop outs, and the legislature is worried about a Scottish Tartan? GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!! Go back to your desks and do something useful....like fixing potholes, fixing the public school system, creating jobs, bringing business BACK to Michigan instead of away.

WHAT WERE YOU THINKING????????? Oh, wait, you weren't.

Is there no "real" work for the legislature? Maybe we should establish an official state "flannel shirt plaid" too.  Are you kidding me???
