Introduced by Rep. Tom Casperson (R) on April 21, 2005, to establish in law that a person who uses deadly force for self defense in his or her home or contiguous private property need not first flee from a threatening attacker.

3) Anywhere [by Anonymous Citizen on April 26, 2005] The law should be rewritten to state that you do not have a duty to retreat from ANYWHERE you have a legal right to be. Several states are applying such a law and it is sometimes called it a "Make my day law". Please do the same here. Reply
