2005 House Bill 4650 (Expand “strawman” firearms purchase ban )

Introduced by Rep. LaMar Lemmons III (D) on April 21, 2005, to explicitly define as a crime purchasing or attempting to purchase a firearm with the intent of furnishing the firearm to a minor or any other individual prohibited from having a firearm, and establish penalties. Note: “Straw-man” gun purchases in which the buyer of record is actually acquiring the firearm for another are already prohibited. This bill adds provisions regarding minors and ineligible buyers.

in my seven years in law enforcement, i have NEVER come across a criminal who purchased a gun at a gun shop, gun show, or pawn shop...

they ALL STOLE THEM, or got them from somebody else who STOLE THEM.

stealing guns is already a crime...

ENFORCE THE LAW.
