2015 House Bill 4417

Authorize home accessibility improvements tax credit

Introduced in the House

March 26, 2015

Introduced by Rep. Sheldon Neeley (D-34)

To authorize an income tax credit up to $2,500 for modifications that make a home accessible for an individual with a disability if that person permanently resides with the taxpayer. The credit would be “refundable,” which means the state would send a check for the amount the credit exceeds the person tax liability for the year.
