Establish “regulatory agency demilitarization act”

To prohibit a federal <I>regulatory</I> agency employee from carrying a firearm in Michigan in the course of his or her job, with violations subject to five years in prison and a $2,500 fine. The bill authorizes the State Police to provide assistance to a federal regulatory agency in an emergency if requested. Federal <I>law enforcement</I> agencies would be exempt from the restriction, and their personnel could still carry firearms in the state.
