2013 House Bill 4986: Ban school discrimination based on student religious expression
Introduced by Rep. Thomas Hooker (R) on September 17, 2013 To prohibit a public school from discriminating against a student or parent on the basis of their religious viewpoint or expression. Schools would have to treat a student’s voluntary expression of a religious viewpoint no differently that the expression of a secular viewpoint.   Official Text and Analysis.
