2011 House Bill 4465: Suspend or revoke teaching certificate of illegally striking teacher
  1. Introduced by Rep. Bill Rogers (R) on March 22, 2011, to suspend for two years the teaching certificate of a public school teacher who engages in an illegal strike. If the teacher did not show up at a hearing on the suspension, the license could be revoked permanently.
    • Referred to the House Education Committee on March 22, 2011.

If the liberals of this state get their way like the liberal/Democrat in Congress in the article below, striking and certificates will be the least of Michigan's problems:

You may be right, this way everyone with a a masters in teaching will stand a better chance to having the job he/she was trained for. Let's see what happens next...

I like this.  I hope it a) can be passed, and b) can be enforced.  


I don't think it would stop "sick outs", but at least we wouldn't have to see the greedy bums waving signs.
