Restrict using campaign contributions for politicians' criminal defense

To establish conditions under which a political candidate committee may use campaign contributions to defend or pay the legal costs of an elected or appointed official in a criminal action. The bill would prohibit this unless the criminal action is related to campaign activity or to carrying out the official duties of office.
